Six Flags New England Announces HARLEY QUINN Spinsanity

Six Flags New England announces a new high flying thrill ride. HARLEY QUINN Spinsanity is the first of it's kind Zamperla Giant Discovery in New England! Harley Quinn is the latest in the park’s lineup of DC Comic themed attractions , set alongside the Superman The Ride, Batman: The Dark Knight,  Catwoman's Whip, Gotham City Gauntlet, Kryptonite Kollider and The Joker 4D Free Fly Coaster, which opened earlier this year.

This attraction will send 40 riders up to 150 feet in the air at speeds of around 70 miles per hour! Riders will reach a maximum angle of 120 degrees, which is almost completely inverted! HARLEY QUINN Spinsanity is sure to provide a thrilling ride experience!

“Innovation is part of the Six Flags DNA and we deliver new, groundbreaking attractions every season at Six Flags New England,” said Park President John Winkler. “HARLEY QUINN is an iconic DC Super-Villain, and we are excited to add this action-packed thrill ride with her name next to THE JOKER, BATMAN, and SUPERMAN in our extremely popular line-up of DC branded attractions.”
HARLEY QUINN Spinsanity is an extreme pendulum ride that will swing guests back and forth, higher and higher, at up to 70 miles per hour on a dizzying journey that will leave riders feeling as wild and out of control as HARLEY QUINN herself.
HARLEY QUINN Spinsanity highlights include:
  • 40 riders will be powered at speeds of nearly 70 miles per hour;
  • The ride swings back and forth while rotating counterclockwise; and
  • As guests swing higher and higher, they will experience a feeling of weightlessness at 147 feet in the air before plunging down from 15 stories.
My Thoughts
I believe that this is the perfect addition to Six Flags New England. The addition of another flat ride is great, and will look amazing in the South End of the park! A lot of people will compare this to Tomahawk, the Huss Frisbee located in the Crackaxle Canyon section of the park. I think that those comparisons will be gone once people ride this.  Tomahawk provides more of a tame ride experience these days, while this will be a high thrill ride, and will be a lot taller than Tomahawk. The experience will be something new to the region, turning riders almost completely upside down while spinning counterclockwise! I am very excited to see this park get another great addition, following The Joker, Fireball, Wicked Cyclone, and New England Sky Screamer!

Thanks For Reading!
