Busch Gardens Tampa: SheiKra

Sheikra is Busch Gardens Tampa's B&M Dive Coaster. Unfortunately, I was not able to ride this coaster on this trip, as it closed for maintenance, and then weather. Fortunately, I was able to snag a few photos of the ride, as it looks very nice, and towers over the Stanleyville section of the park.

The coaster stands 200 feet tall, and features a 90 degree drop with a holding brake at the top. Riders are held for 3 seconds before diving down the drop and back up into an Immelmann inversion.
After the inversion, riders twist up into a Mid Course Brake Run (MCBR). After the MCBR, riders go hurdling down the rides second vertical drop, and proceed into a tunnel.

Riders then go into a turn around and into a Splashdown, which works as water powered brakes. Those on the train do not get wet, but there is a splash zone on the outer edge of the pool.

SheiKra is a great ride! I wish I was able to ride it on this trip, but there is always next time!

Thanks for reading!
