#Throwback Thursday- Wicked Cyclone Media Day
Here's a report on something I attended two years ago! I know what you are thinking, and YES, it really has been two years since Wicked Cyclone opened!
I was lucky enough to attend the event as an ACE Member, and it was spectacular!
The event had everything you could ever want! It was like North End ERT!
Now on to some photos!
The day started off at the front gate, similar to the start of every Six Flags visit, but this was no typical visit!
Once they opened the gate, we were directed towards the North End! The park had these really cool street performers out and about!
The ride was all decorated with its Blue and Orange balloons! The park even gave out Friendly's Sundae Cups!
Here is the entrance to the ride!
We were all led into the queue, which had been opened up to accommodate all of us! This is where a few presentations/speeches occurred.
You were able to see all the detail that was put into theming this ride!
Here's more examples of the theming seen in the queue!
In this photo, you can see a TV monitor. The park debuted the rides queue video, which was very well done, and even referenced the designers of Wicked Cyclone and the original Riverside Cyclone.
The queue was amazing too. It had these cool looking fans in it, which have since been removed.
I have never seen the ride run as good as it did this day! It flew through every element!
I believe I rode Wicked Cyclone 4 times on Media Day!
Below is a video which has all the footage I shot at the event!
Thanks For Reading!
