Will The "Twisted Looper" Be The Next Six Flags Trend?
The Six Flags Amusement Park chain has been known to purchase rides in bulk, and "clone" them at many parks. In the past, this has been done with the B&M Batman Model, Larson Super Loops, and most recently the S&S 4D Free Spin Coaster. Today, I'm going to give my insight on what I think the next Six Flags trend could be.
As I said above, the most recent Six Flags trend has been the 4D Free Spin Coaster from S&S. Recently, this company has announced a bunch of new ride concepts, including the "Twisted Looper". The "Twisted Looper" looks to be a hybrid between a Larson Super Loop and a Premier Rides Skyrocket II, both shown below.

Premier Skyrocket II |
This ride concept takes the coaster and non-inverting loop aspect from the Skyrocket, while taking the "loop" aspect from the Super Loop. This ride also utilizes winged seating, meaning that riders will have no track above or below them, but on the sides of them.
So why can I see this being the next Six Flags Trend? Well, recently Six Flags has had a great relationship with S&S, and this attraction could continue that. Also, this is an actual rollercoaster. The marketing possibilities for the "Twisted Looper" could be huge. It is a multi-launching Wing coaster that travels back and forth throughout the ride. That is something a park could boast. Also, Six Flags has recently been purchasing compact rides that could fit almost anywhere, and this ride fits the bill on that.
So in conclusion, I believe that the S&S Twisted Looper will be seen at multiple Six Flags parks in the not so distant future!
