IAAPA Photos. My First Day
Thursday, November 16th, I arrived at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida. IAAPA, or The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, is where everyone from the amusement industry comes to showcase their products! I had a great first day at the expo, and cannot wait to check more out tomorrow!
The MACK rides booth looked great, and they were showcasing a car for the new Time Traveler spinning coaster going to Silver Dollar City. The car looks absolutely fantastic!
I tried out both rides over at SBF-Visa. The spinning coaster was actually a lot more intense than I expected, and ended up being a ton of fun! The Crazy Cabs (Breakdance) was also very fun, but quite dizzying. These were really fun attractions!
Maurer was showing off a car from their Spike Coaster. The concept of this ride seems very cool, and I'd love to see a few of them pop up in the US.
Skyline Attractions debuted the lead car for Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster, which is being installed as the World's First Skywarp at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! They also had other models out of new Skywarp concepts, and I will try to snap a photo of those tomorrow!
Zamperla was showing off a ton of coaster cars and attractions. I tried out the WindStarz model they had set up and it was great! Really enjoyed the ride. They had a few other rides on display, and I will try to grab photos of those tomorrow.
Chance Rides was promoting their Unicoaster, with a car from the ride inside their booth. This coaster concept looks crazy, and I hope one gets built soon!
Oceaneering had out one of their cars, which were similar to those on the Justice League Battle For Metropolis rides!
Intamin was displaying a raft from Seaworld Orlando's new Infinity Falls ride coming in 2018! The raft looks great!
Rocky Mountain Construction had their different track types on display, along with the lead car for Twisted Cyclone, which will be the I-Box Conversion of the Georgia Cyclone.
Martin & Vleminckx had some really cool models set up in their booth showcasing their coasters.
Mondial had a Windseeker seat at their booth! It looks very shiny and new!
Polin Water Slides had some great models, along with a really cool Water Slide Simulator that I was able to experience!
S&S-Sansei was promoting the return of the Steeplechase, and Arrow Legacy ride! The car designs for this ride look awesome!
Gravity Group had the lead car for Sesame Place's new wooden coaster, Oscar's Wacky Taxi. It looks great and is incredibly detailed!
Gerstlauer had a model of their Sky Roller ride, along with the two huge coasters going into the American Dream mall in New Jersey!
Brogent had an insanely immersive VR attraction in which you went under water! It was great!
Thanks for checking out my Day 1 Photos! Check back soon for more!
