Fun Spot America Kissimmee Report
While in Florida for IAAPA, I was able to visit Fun Spot America in Kissimmee. Fun Spot Kissimmee is one of two Fun Spot parks in Florida. They are home to three roller coasters, many flat rides, go-karts, and the World's Tallest SkyCoaster.
Mine Blower
The star of the park is the Gravity Group wooden coaster, Mine Blower. This ride is incredible. It packs an insane amount of elements in its compact footprint, including an inversion!
The ride provides great air-time EVERYWHERE! The first drop has some insane airtime in the back row!
The inversion is a ton of fun, and this is actually where the On-Ride photo is taken!
This ride is really great. It is fun and intense, and is what I believe to be the best operating wooden coaster in Florida. That being said, the ride is quite rough. It is not an unbearable roughness, but I was expecting a smoother ride for a coaster that is less than a year old. But like I said, it is not too rough, and it did not stop me from riding 10 times throughout my visit!
Other Rides
The park has a good amount of flat rides too! In the above photo, you will see the parks drop tower.
The park has a Chance Rides YOYO swing too!
The sole inverting flat ride at the park is Headrush 360, which is a pendulum-type ride. This ride ran a great cycle, and was a ton of fun!
Fun Spot has four rides in the back of Old Town. These include a Tilt-a-Whirl, a Paratrooper, a Carousel, and a Skyline Attractions Crazy Couch. I did not ride any of them, but they looked fun!
I did not ride the 300 ft Skycoaster, but it looks CRAZY! It is located above water, and it seems like its gotta be NUTS!
I had a ton of fun on the parks Flying Skooters ride! They ran the ride quite quick, which allowed the tubs to fly pretty high, and even swing over the water! This was definitely the most surprising ride I rode here, as I wasn't expecting it to be so fun!
I forgot to take photos of Rockstar, which is the parks spinning coaster, but it was pretty fun. It is a standard Zamperla Spinning Coaster, but was quite smooth when compared to other Wild Mouse style rides.
Thanks For Reading!
