Lake Compounce- The Haunted Graveyard Photos

This past weekend, I visited The Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce in Bristol, Connecticut.

According to their website, this is the story of how The Haunted Graveyard came to be:
"The Haunted Graveyard was created by owner Ernie Romegialli, whose daughter was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of six.To take her mind off the candy she couldn’t have, Romegialli threw himself heart and soul into decorating the family house for Halloween. This led him to conceive of an open attraction with a dual purpose – to give people a good scare, and to raise money for the American Diabetes Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation."
The different scenes of the haunt are all extremely elaborate, and incredibly detailed!
From Cemeteries to Temples, you never know what you will encounter next.
The props are all incredibly creepy. A few times throughout my 45 minute journey, I had no idea what was real or a prop!
The Haunted Graveyard had\s both indoor and outdoor set pieces, which makes for a very cool environment!
The actors are absolutely incredible, and do more than jump scares. They really make the atmosphere special with creepy movements and timing.
All in All, The Haunted Graveyard put on a terrific spectacle this season, and I cannot wait to visit again next season! If you haven't checked it out, I highly urge you to visit!

Park Photos

The entrance area looks terrific with the tank pumping fog into the courtyard!

Phobia looks great at night! It's a little hard to see, the the headstone in front of the sign says R.I.P Enterprise, which formerly resided in Phobias current spot.
Here is an example of some of the great theming around the park.

Any finally Wildcat. The park is in the middle of a much needed paint job, which includes white structure, black wood stacks, and orange handrails. It is looking great!
They are also constructing a Brand New Entrance! I believe they're going to be putting the former PTC train on this newly constructed track segment. It is sure to be amazing!

And while I do not have any photos of it, I got two night rides in on Boulder Dash in the back row! It is running amazing in my opinion, and to this day, nothing beats this ride at night!

Thanks For Reading! Don't forget to comment and share!
