Currently, there has only been one Hyper GTX model built. Are there any elements, such as inversions, which do not appear on Lightning Run, but could exist on future installations? – The Hyper GT-X train is designed to allow for inversions.  We have created concept layouts under consideration that include barrel rolls and other extreme elements.

Recently, Chance Rides updated the restraint system for the Zipper ride. Was their a reason for this, and will most Zippers be retrofitted with the new shoulder harness? – The entire Zipper cage has been updated to provide a more open view during the ride experience.  This is allowing riders to experience their surroundings with the ride and it is also allowing waiting riders and friends to see the riders on board.  In a social media era this is a nice element to update our classic ride.  The over the shoulder harness also allows for a more comfortable ride experience.  We have made the new Zipper seats available for purchase as a ride upgrade but it is at the discretion of the ride owners to make that decision.  It is not required and we have not deemed the old seat to be flawed in any way.

Does Chance Rides have an attraction that they believe to be their biggest accomplishment? Is there any single attraction that seems to be a “Favorite” throughout the company? – The signature Chance Rides product is easily the C.P. Huntington Train.  We are currently approaching 400 locomotives manufactured and with that we will be introducing an all new solar-battery powered electric model.  Every patron from 1 – 100 enjoys a train ride and we are immensely proud of the projects we’ve been able to be involved with as the premiere miniature train manufacturer.

What do you believe sets Chance Rides apart from other ride manufacturers? – Chance Rides is the largest ride manufacturer in North America with the most diverse product lines of any manufacturer in the business.  From year to year our project load varies dramatically based on the needs of our customers.  We are able to consistently serve our customer base with trains, trams and carousels and then we have additional projects that vary from stately observation wheels, thrilling roller coasters and extreme flat rides.  We have set ourselves up to be a valuable resources to our customers, colleagues and partners in the industry, serving with the mindset that if we can help them to be successful that we will in turn be successful.
