Six Flags New England- Holiday in the Park

On December 2nd, I visited Six Flags New England's Holiday in the Park Media Day!
Let me just start by saying that this was an amazing event put on the park, complete with our own showing of Frost, goodies to take home, and a great spread of snacks!

Frost
Frost is a show located inside the Rockville Theater. It's a show similar to Cirque Du Soleil, as it has many different aerial and acrobatic feats!

This show was excellent! I was very impressed by it, as many amusement park shows can be mediocre. The dancers and entertainers of this show were all extremely talented and made the show very enjoyable!

Rides
Holiday in the Park has a large amount of roller coasters and rides open for the event!
The Joker 4D Free Fly Coaster is one of the great attractions open for Holiday in the Park. It's a fun coaster and I am glad that it's open!
Batman The Dark Knight is also open, and it is running INSANE! It is absolutely flying through the course. I believe that the ride is running with a different kind of wheel, but I'm not sure. This B&M Floorless Coaster is running in Top Shape!
Buzzsaw is open for its final few weeks before it is removed for the 2018 season.
Crime Wave is perfect if the whole family wants to ride together, or if a smaller thrill seeker is waiting for those riding Batman or The Joker.

Tomahawk is another thrilling attraction open for Holiday in the Park!
Flashback, while not on the Holiday in the Park rides list, was open! Another coaster open is a great thing! Maybe next year there will be even more!
For those who need to heat up, Houdini is open and heated!
All of Kidzopolis is open too!

In addition to the rides above, the park also has Thunderbolt, Fireball, Scrambler, Balloon Race, Rock N Rodeo, Looney Toons Movie Town, Kontiki, New England Express, Carousel,  and Mind Eraser, open.

South End / The Riddler?
With Harley Quinn Spinsanity coming to the park next season, there's been rumors of the South End being rethemed to Gotham City. Well, those rumors gained a lot more traction with posters like this around the park. For those not familiar with The Riddler, those question marks are pretty much his logo.
Not only this, but there are announcements around the park telling you that someone else is joining Harley Quinn, and that we won't get hits as to who it is until 2018.
The park map shows The Riddlers question marks all over Mind Eraser, pointing towards a retheme!
And the rides entrance is decked out with GREEN lights! This is The Riddlers color!
I'm pretty confident that we will be seeing a pretty big change with Mind Eraser and the South End next season!

The Lights
The park is completely lit up with over One Million lights! It is quite a sight to see! Check out some of the great displays!

It is so beautiful all throughout the park! They did an amazing job! The lights on Main Street are also programmed and synched with a light show that happens every so often. Its extraordinary, and amazing to watch!

Harley Quinn Spinsanity
Check out the construction site for Harley Quinn Spinsanity. The Tea Cups and Slingshot are out, and ground work is underway for the new attraction!

Thanks For Reading!
Thank you guys so much for reading! Holiday in the park is an amazing event, and I 100% recommend visiting if you have the chance! It was a ton of fun, and there is something for everyone to experience, whether it be the amazing lights or the thrilling coasters. Specialty food options and entertainment make the experience of Six Flags New England different from anything you've ever seen at the park before! So get out and head to Six Flags for Holiday in the Park!

One More Thing...
I was lucky enough to meet Jim Reid-Anderson, Chairman and CEO of Six Flags. He was extremely nice, and I really appreciate hime giving me a few minutes of his time to talk and take a photo! Meeting him made a great night at the park even better!
