Lake Compounce, in Bristol, CT is a great amusement park for families and thrill seekers alike! This article will be showing 10 of the amazing things that this park has to offer! 10. The Lake Not many amusement parks have their own lake, but that is one of the reasons why Lake Compounce is so unique.  Swimmers are able to access a small portion of the lake, for a more natural experience. Amusement parks are places that should be fun. You should never do something that might ruin your day or somebody else’s. Here are some things you can do to help make the amusement park experience the best it can be for yourself, other guests, and the employees. Do Not: Line Jump. Chances are, that an employee will see you do that and tell you to get back to the end of the line. By line jumping, you are making other guests wait longer, making employees deal with something that shouldn't need to be dealt with, and risking getting ejected from the park. Oh, and by the way, employees and guests both know that 9 out of 10 times, you really aren't meeting up with friends or family further up in line Do Not: Ask an employee why a ride is down or when it will reopen In all honesty, the employees most likely do not know, and even if they did, its most likely against protocol to share with guests. Mako is a 200 ft tall B&M Hyper Coaster located at Seaworld Orlando. This is the tallest coaster in all of Orlando. Throughout the 4,760 foot ride, riders experience multiple twist and turns, along with ejector and floater airtime hills. Riders will reach a top speed of 73 mph. I will be going through different categories and rate the ride on a 1-10 scale. At the end of the article, I will give my final opinion and score of Mako. Theming and Scenery Mako is themed to a Mako shark, and the theme works really well with the ride because of its quick speeds and twists. The man-made lake is a beautiful setting, and really exemplifies the sense of speed when flying by it. The queue has some cool information about Mako sharks, and the station has a really cool element when dispatching, but other than that, there is not much theming throughout the ride. During my trip to Orlando, the final park I visited was Seaworld Orlando. This park is absolutely beautiful, and a lot bigger than I expected. I haven't been to the park before, so it was a totally new experience for me. I had a great time at the park! The park is home to five roller coasters, with four of them being the parks main attractions. All the rides I experienced during my time at the park were great! Mako  Mako is Seaworld Orlando's B&M Hyper Coaster. Standing 200 feet tall, Mako is the tallest roller coaster in Orlando, as well as being the longest and fastest, coming in at 4,760 feet and 73 miles per hour. The ride is full of some amazing ejector airtime, which really took me by surprise! The only other B&M Hyper Coaster that I have ridden, Nitro, had mostly floater airtime, and that is what I was expecting from Mako!
