Top 10 Attractions I'm Looking Forward to in California!

PC: Pintrest
As I've said in recent posts, I'm taking a trip to California, and visiting six different amusement parks! In this article, I will be counting down the 10 attractions I am the most excited for on this trip!

(Runner Up) Radiator Springs Racers- Disney California Adventure
I am very excited to try out this attraction, as I love both the ride system of Test Track at Epcot, along with the theme of the Cars franchise. The attraction looks beautifully themed and very immersive. I have been on Test Track, which utilizes a similar ride system, and absolutely loved it, so there is no doubt in my mind that I won't enjoy Radiator Springs Racers!

10.Xcelerator- Knotts Berry Farm
Xcelerator is an Intamin Rocket Coaster, and is actually the first of its kind! Without Xcelerator, rides like Kingda Ka would have never been built. I hear that this is a great ride with a great launch, and I cannot wait to experience it!

9. Matterhorn Bobsleds- Disneyland
I love Disney Parks! The classic attractions are always amazing and fun for the entire family. I'm excited for Matterhorn Bobsleds because there really isn't a ride similar to it at Walt Disney World, so it will be brand new for me! The ride itself looks very fun, with quick turns and a splashdown! I'm also very interested in it because it was the World's First Tubular Steel Track Roller Coaster!

8. Gold Striker- California's Great America
Gold Striker is a GCI Wooden Coaster. I am a huge fan of GCI Coasters, and this one looks to be amazing and intense. The tunnels through different portions of the ride look like they will make great head chopper effects. All in all, the ride looks very fun and interesting!

7. Superman Escape From Krypton
When I visited Six Flags Magic Mountain back in 2015, this attraction was unfortunately closed. It looks to be a very fun ride with a great launch. I'm sure the view from atop the 400 ft track is amazing, and I am very excited to experience it! I was able to ride Lex Luthor Drop of Doom, which is attached to Superman,  and it had a great view, so I'm sure the vertical drop will be great too!

6. The Joker- Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
RMC makes some of my favorite coasters ever, such as Wicked Cyclone and New Texas Giant. The Joker looks like it could also near the top of my list. The element on this coaster that I am most intrigued about is the "Step-Up Under Flip", which is an inversion up into a turn, along with all the insane ejector airtime that is in every single one of RMC's creations! This ride looks totally packed, and I'm sure that I am definitely going to enjoy this coaster!

5. The Incredicoaster- Disney California Adventure
So The Incredicoaster, formerly California Screamin, has been one of my most sought after coaster since I was a kid. I remember that they would have little shorts pop up on the Disney Channel called Disney 411 or Disney 365, and they would be filmed at Disney California Adventure. The Iconic Mickey ears that ride had surrounding the loop just made it look iconic. So while The Incredicoaster isn't the tallest, fastest, or most intense coaster on this list, it's one that I am very excited to ride, just because of how many times I used to see it on TV!

4. Hangtime- Knotts Berry Farm
Knott's Berry Farm is opening Hangtime, a Gerstlauer Infinity coaster, for the 2018 season. I am very excited to try this one, as it will be brand new and I have never ridden an Infinity coaster before! The layout itself looks action packed, with a 96 degree drop and multiple inversions, it's sure to be a great ride!

3. Railblazer- California's Great America
Railblazer is an RMC Raptor coaster that will opening during the 2018 season. I am so excited to check it out because this ride just looks full of airtime and heart pounding inversions! The rock theming also looks to enhance the ride experience!

2. Twisted Colossus- Six Flags Magic Mountain
The second RMC coaster of the trip is Twisted Colossus! The last time I visited Six Flags Magic Mountain, Twisted Colossus was under construction, so I wasn't able to ride it. The layout itself looks phenomenal and the dueling aspect seems to take the ride to the next level! The element I'm most excited to experience on this coaster is the Top Gun stall!

1. X2- Six Flags Magic Mountain
X2 is one of my most sought after coaster credits. Last time I visited Six Flags Magic Mountain, the ride was closed due to wind, so hopefully that is not the case this year. I've been intrigued by this coaster ever since I was young and saw it on a Roller Coaster DVD. It looks like it's an amazing ride, and I cannot wait to Xperience X2!
