Skyrush- Review

Image
Skyrush is an Intamin Hyper Coaster located at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This ride is INTENSE! Standing 212 feet tall, this ride has some serious speed and some insane airtime!  In this review, I will be going through different categories and rating the ride on a 1-10 scale. Theming and Scenery Skyrush doesn't really have a theme, but the scenery surrounding the ride is amazing! The majority of the ride is located over water, and the bright yellow track stands out while still looking quite natural! The ride and its surrounding area look very nice! Theming and Scenery: 8/10 Trains Skyrush runs two trains, each holding 32 riders. The unique aspect of these trains are the "Winged Seats" This means the two riders will sit above the track, as they would a traditional roller coaster, while two other guests will ride on the wing, with nothing above or below them. I believe that the "Winged Seats" really add to the experience! The downside to

Hersheypark Photos & Review

On Friday, April 14th, I visited Hersheypark for the first time! I wasn't sure what to expect with this park. As I arrived, the crowds were huge! This was only their second weekend of operations, so I wasn't expecting everything to be 100% great yet. I started the day off with Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit is the parks Intamin looping coaster which also has a 97 degree beyond vertical drop. The ride features 6 crazy inversions, including the Two-Inversion "Norwegian Loop".  I really liked Fahrenheit! It was intense, smooth, and had some great inversions! The crew was moving pretty quick, and they even added the third train! The only downside to this ride was how hard the seats were. Next up was Wildcat. Unfortunately, I have no pictures of this fun GCI wooden coaster. The ride was a little bit rough, but not bad. I actually found it to be pretty good! I also have no photos of Laff Track, but I really didn't enjoy the ride, and found it to be a wa

Here's some pictures from my recent trip to Six Flags Great Adventure located in Jackson, New Jersey! Unfortunately, The Joker was not open during my visit. I took my first ride on Skull Mountain and found it very enjoyable! El Toro was running very well, and I liked it a lot more this trip than I did last time. Thanks for checking out my pictures! Our in-depth Hersheypark report will be up soon! #FullOfAmusement

Galactic Attack/Mind Eraser Report!

On Saturday, April 8th, I went to the Six Flags New England VIP opening for both New England Coaster News and Coaster Chit Chat.  I arrived at the park at 9:00, and checked in for the event. While waiting at the entrance,  I was able to check out the new Main Gate improvements. Metal detectors have been moved to before the turnstiles, and the ticket booths have been relocated to the Group Sales Building. Walking down to Mind Eraser, we walked past a new "SFNE" fountain in front of the Flash Pass building, and also got to see The Joker close up. Now on to Mind Eraser! The queue line has been re-routed to accommodate for Virtual Reality. The queue is where riders will be given the VR headsets, which should help with efficiency, this is also where the line splits for VR and non VR riders. The queue setup seems a lot more thought out than last years Superman VR. As you enter the station, you can see that many improvements have been made, su
