My Trip to Cedar Point: Part 1

Image
In September of 2019, I was able to take my first visit ever to America's Roller Coast, the one and only Cedar Point!  I had very high expectations for this park, and they were not only met, but exceeded! This park is incredible, and does not sacrifice quality in any way, and is one of the only parks that I feel has quality at the same importance as quantity. In this post, I will be reviewing some of the incredible attractions at this park, and part two will follow up with any attractions I might not have gotten to here.  Steel Vengeance This is the most incredible roller coaster I have ever ridden. This Rocky Mountain Construction hybrid coaster is absolutely amazing. The coaster stands at an impressive 205 feet, with the structure looking even more menacing as it is entirely wood. The elements that this coaster has are just insane, with more airtime moments than I could count, and hang time galore. The outward banked top hat was just so unique, and the speed-hills ha

King's Island Photos

Back in September I was able to take a trip out to Ohio to visit Kings Island. Since I only had a few hours at the park, I focused more on my experience than taking photos.  This park was incredibly nice, and I found it to be a great mix of Knott's Berry Farm, Kings Dominion, and Carowinds! This park is home to some incredible coasters.  Banshee is an incredible inverted coaster that flawless mixes the old, snappy style of B&M coasters, with their new subdued and smooth style rides.  Mystic Timbers , the parks terrain GCI wooden coaster was relentless from start to finish, while still providing a smooth ride experience. The Racer was a fun, classic wooden coaster, who's experience was brought up a level with the side-by-side racing aspect, and was just pure fun! Adventure Express , the parks Arrow Mine Train, was actually a highlight. This ride is just plain fun in all of its quirky glory! Invertigo is the parks Vekoma Inverted Boomerang

A Visit to Dollywood

Image
This past August (2019), I was able to visit Dollywood, which is highly regarded as one of the best amusement parks in the world. The park contains world class coasters such as Lightning Rod, Thunderhead, Tennessee Tornado, and Wild Eagle, but is also home to many unique experiences for crafts and shopping. Dollywood was unlike any other park that I have visited before. Its location is filled with luscious trees and greenery, and the employees are some of the nicest I've experienced in a park! Below I'll be talking about some of the most noteworthy attractions and experiences at Dollywood! Tennessee Tornado is the parks Arrow Looping Coaster, and it was fantastic! This ride had everything you could want in a coaster, including breathtaking inversions, quick transitions, and large drops. The ride is also incredibly smooth, which is something I did not expect from an Arrow Looper. ---- Mystery Mine is the parks Gerstlauer Eurofighter. This ride was d
